Definitely better with than without. Easier to clean and keep my glass clean. It’s not perfect. Stuff still gets dirty and stained but I smoke off of it quite a bit and need to make sure I have more filters on hand. Worth the small investment.
Just know the filters easily get wet that top of filter and then it gets soggy. I do noticed the difference with the filter but sucks that they get water damaged easily
I’ve always loved the idea of an ash catcher, but they can be so hard to clean. This one comes apart in every way you can think of and is easily cleaned with alcohol. Keeps my piece much cleaner & 100% eliminates any ash getting into the bong.
