Purchased for the price and the look. Was skeptical about the stem being below the waterline but once I figured out the right water level it did a great job cooling. Drop or two of cranberry juice keeps the resign build up off the glass. I was also worried about the glass being thin and It does appear to be but I have beaten this thing up without any breaks or chips! If Hemper is considering a redesign I would suggest 1) have a wider mouth for faster draws and 2) extend the stem above the percolator. Otherwise great product and would recommend.

It’s a perfect size and works very well as expected
Ash catcher or cleaning after every use is pretty much required to keep the slits from getting clogged. But when it's not clogged, its hitting you right in the face. POW! RIGHT IN THE KISSER!
